Top 4 Products For The Pantry

The world is a stressful place right now. At least for those of us in the United States. And, since I am Type A to a T, I stress organize. There is something about having order when the world seems crazy that helps decrease my anxiety.

I was thinking today on the spaces I have tackled in the past and flashed back to my biggest and greatest project yet: the pantry. So, if you are like me and also stress organize and are thinking about tackling your pantry, here are the top products for pantry organization.

1) Turntable

Turntables are game changer when organizing your pantry. I never thought about using them, but after I saw The Home Edit do it, I knew I had to use them in my space. There are many different ways to use these, but I they are specifically really helpful for organizing bottles and sauces. No more digging through a bunch to find what you need!

What I also specifically love about this turnable is that it doesn’t have a huge lip on it. Its just enough to make sure that nothing flies off of it when you spin it but its still easy to grab what you need. Also, the fact that its made of plastic makes it super easy to clean, which is good because we all know there is one bottle in your pantry that is inexplicably sticky.

2) Clear Bins

One of the basics of organizing any space is containment. I have found over time that this is something that was generally being forgotten when I was setting up a pantry. Most food comes in a box, so why would I need another bin? But, not having bins to keep things together just led to a messy space.

I specifically think clear bins are a staple for a few reasons. First, you can see whats in the bin. That means you can find what you are looking for easily. Second, I love that this particular bin has handles. This is something super small, but it makes it easier to grab bins that are on higher shelves, allowing you to really use all of your space. And finally, plastic is easy to clean, which means you don’t have to stress out about a bag or box breaking or leaking.

3) Tiered Shelf

One of my biggest pet peeves when looking at my pantry pre organization was that I couldn’t see everything that I had. So, when I saw this shelf I knew I had to have it. Tiered shelves in general are great since they use often wasted vertical space to display more items, meaning you can actually see what you have. Revolutionary!

What I love specifically about this shelf is that is expandable. It can fit into a variety of spaces, and you change adjust it for the amount of things that you have. The flexibility is really amazing when you are organizing and finalizing your space. Additionally, I love how this one is clear. It doesn’t add and visual weight to the space like a black or solid color shelf would.

4) Decorative Bin

OK, I know I just got done with raving about clear bins, but hear me out. Often times there are some shelves that are low or at eye level that you may not want to see everything with a clear bin. For us, it was with our booze and drinks. I choose to use these wooden bins instead of clear ones here.

First, these bins are a lot bigger, which is better when storing bigger items like bottle of vodka and cans. Plus, since these bins are being used low, it’s still easy to see whats in the bin so the clear aspect is not as important. Plus, they are super pretty.

So there you go, my favorite items that I have used in my pantry. These items are not only super practical, they also have some unique features that give them an edge on similar items. Now you have a shopping list so you can take your stress out through organizing!
